Steve Campbell RDT FCGDent is a GDC-registered dental technician with over 33 years of experience and a deep passion for the life-changing service the dental team provides to patients. As Managing Director and Technical Director of Nexus Dental Laboratory, a fully digital lab he established in 2015, he leads a highly skilled team delivering comprehensive restorative solutions, with particular expertise in implantology and advanced digital workflows, materials, and production solutions. Working alongside some of the most highly regarded dental surgeons in the UK and across Europe, Steve focuses on optimising quality while streamlining workflows to reduce surgery time and enhance patient outcomes through cutting-edge materials, digital design, and AI-enabled production possibilities. Over the course of his career, Steve has helped pioneer the transition from traditional, hand-crafted techniques to fully integrated digital workflows, positioning Nexus as a development partner and global KOL group for multiple international industry leaders. He is a Fully Accredited Member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, a Fellow and Council Member of the College of General Dentistry, and Past President of the Dental Laboratories Association, now transitioning into a new leadership role as the Association’s Director of Policy. When not in the lab, Steve is a regular presence at dental events in the UK and internationally, where he can typically be found either learning from peers or sharing practical, real-world insights on digital transformation, AI, and restorative dentistry on behalf of the many professional organisations and partners he is proud to represent.
