Joanne has led communications and engagement at the General Dental Council for the past two years. Her priorities are to help dental professionals and stakeholders to understand the GDC’s purpose and role and their responsibilities towards patient safety and public confidence. Joanne has previously held a number of senior communication roles in government and financial services, including the Department of Work and Pensions and Lloyds Banking Group.
