Ella Cook is a newly qualified registered dental technician who graduated with first-class honours in Dental Technology from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2025. During her studies she completed a dissertation on UK dental technicians’ scope of practice, later published by the Dental Technologists Association. She served as course representative throughout her degree and contributed an AGCAS case study on her transition into the profession. Ella now works in the Prosthetics Laboratory at Bristol Dental Hospital (UHBW), where she is gaining experience in complex prosthetics, including obturators. She is passionate about digital workflows, workforce development, and supporting new technicians entering the profession.
