Pilar Fukushima is a General Dentist with over a decade of experience, with a particular focus on full mouth rehabilitation and dental implantology. Uniquely, she began her career as a Dental Technician, giving her a strong foundation in both the technical and clinical aspects of dentistry. She holds a Diploma in Aesthetic Dentistry, a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry, and a Certificate in Implantology, and is currently completing an MSc in Dental Implantology. Pilar is frequently referred complex tooth wear and temporomandibular disorder (TMD) cases, reflecting her advanced skill set and multidisciplinary approach. Having practised across a range of countries and clinical settings, Pilar brings a broad perspective to patient care and professional development. She is passionate about supporting and inspiring dental professionals to explore diverse and fulfilling career pathways within dentistry. Alongside her clinical work, Pilar collaborates with JC Dentures, delivering domiciliary care and expanding access to treatment for patients with additional needs.
