Chris Keating is Head of Technical Production Laboratories and 3D-Planning Lead at Bristol Dental Hospital (BDH), part of University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. He leads production across the Prosthodontic, Orthodontic, and 3D Dental & Surgical Design Laboratories. Chris is focused on advancing digital workflows across BDH specialties, working closely with dental and surgical teams to develop virtual surgical planning and patient-specific workflows aimed at improving treatment outcomes and clinical-efficiency. He is an Honorary Doctoral Researcher at the Royal United Hospital, Bath, undertaking research on the accuracy of virtual surgical planning and soft tissue prediction in orthognathic surgery.
