Registration opens for Dental Technology Showcase 2026!

Registration is now officially open for Dental Technology Showcase (DTS) 2026, returning to the NEC Birmingham on 15 and 16 May 2026. Free to attend for dental technicians and laboratory professionals, DTS 2026 will once again bring together the UK’s dental technology community for two days of education, innovation and connection.

Taking place alongside the British Dental Conference & Dentistry Show, DTS 2026 will showcase the latest advancements shaping modern dental laboratories, from digital workflows and materials science to next-generation equipment and collaborative practice models.

A dedicated event for dental technology professionals

Designed specifically for dental technicians and laboratory owners, DTS offers a focused platform to explore how evolving technologies and smarter workflows are transforming lab efficiency, precision and patient outcomes. Whether working in a fully digital environment or transitioning from analogue processes, DTS provides practical insight, hands-on learning and direct access to leading suppliers.

Education tailored to the lab

The DTS education programme delivers high-quality, complimentary CPD (over 40 hours), designed to support technicians at every stage of their career.
Over 50 speakers will be taking to the stage to explore topics including:

  • Digital design and CAD/CAM workflows
  • Materials innovation and restorative techniques
  • Implant and full-arch laboratory solutions
  • Quality assurance, compliance and lab efficiency
  • Strengthening collaboration between labs and clinics

Some planned highlights include:

  • Jack Marrano, Director of Signature Prosthetics at Absolute Dental Services – ‘The Changing Landscape’
  • Alina Ceclan, MiYO Instructor and Ceramist at Q LAB – ‘Beyond the Eye: Photographic vs. Digital Pathways to Precise Restorations’
  • James Green, Maxillofacial and Dental Laboratory Manager at GOSH – ‘Custom-made medical device legislation: where are we following Brexit and COVID-19?’
  • Andrea Johnson, Chair at Den-Tech – ‘The GDC Revised Scope of Practice for Dental Technicians: what's changed and why?’
  • Kristina Vaitelyte and Caroline Kirkpatrick, digital dental technicians – ‘From Pixels to Patients: How AI Is Transforming CAD Design and Real-World Cases’

Innovation on the show floor

DTS 2026 will host 60+ exhibitors showcasing the latest in laboratory equipment, digital solutions, materials and services. Exhibitors confirmed include Skillbond, DB Lab Supplies, VITA Zahnfabrik, Zirkonzahn and SYS Stratasys 3D Printers.

Attendees can expect live demonstrations of milling machines, 3D printers, scanners and software, as well as opportunities to compare solutions, speak directly with manufacturers and access exclusive show-only offers.

With technology evolving at pace, the exhibition provides a valuable opportunity to evaluate new tools and workflows that can enhance productivity, accuracy and profitability within the modern dental laboratory.

Connecting the dental technology community

Networking remains central to DTS. From informal discussions on the show floor to dedicated learning spaces, the event creates opportunities to exchange ideas, share challenges and build relationships with fellow technicians, suppliers and clinical partners.

Attendees can also use the free event app to plan their visit, bookmark sessions, schedule meetings and tailor their experience.

Stewart Turner, Senior Show Manager, comments: ‘Dental Technology Showcase continues to play a vital role in supporting the dental technology community. In 2026, we’re bringing together the latest innovations, expert insight and practical education to help laboratories and technicians thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape.
