Ever felt like you’re “not good enough” despite doing everything right? Imposter syndrome is surprisingly common in dental technology, yet rarely talked about. This lecture takes a fresh, honest approach by exploring self-doubt, comparison, and perfectionism through the lens of the Seven Deadly Sins.
Blending personal reflection with real-life professional experiences, the session reveals how ''sins'' can quietly shape our thoughts, confidence, and working habits. More importantly, it offers practical ways to challenge these patterns and build resilience.
This is an open, relatable conversation about confidence, community, and knowing you belong in your profession—because none of us are meant to do this alone.

  • Recognise imposter syndrome and its impact on dental technology - Identify unhelpful thought patterns that affect confidence and wellbeing - Reflect on personal experiences of self-doubt in professional practice - Apply practical strategies to build confidence and resilience - Understand the value of community and peer support in maintaining professionalism.
