Ever felt like you’re not good enough, even when you’re doing everything right? In dental technology, imposter syndrome is more common than we admit. This talk explores self-doubt, comparison, and perfectionism through the Seven Deadly Sins, using honest reflection and real experiences to help challenge these patterns and build confidence.

Aims

This session explores imposter syndrome in dental technology and its impact on confidence, wellbeing, and professional practice. Using the seven deadly sins as reflective metaphors, it highlights comparison, self-doubt, and overworking. Through practical strategies and reflection, it promotes peer support, resilience, professionalism, and safe patient care aligned with GDC standards.
