We will deliver a PowerPoint presentation about medical emergencies within in the dental laboratory. Including a practical demonstration on CPR and defib allowing you time to have a practice to perfect your skills and understand the new resuscitation council guidelines for January 2026.
- To equip dental professionals with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to recognise and manage anaphylaxis and cardiac arrest, including effective CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Aims
To provide dental professionals with a clear understanding of medical emergencies in the dental setting, focusing on the recognition and management of anaphylaxis and cardiac arrest. The session combines a PowerPoint presentation with practical CPR and AED training, allowing delegates to practise skills and apply the latest Resuscitation Council UK guidelines (January 2026).
