Learning Content
The session will consist of a brief introduction followed by opening the room up to questions from both the pro digital denture delegates who are looking for way to make things better and the sceptics who believe they aren't good enough
- Understanding why design software tricks technicians into making digital dentures significantly thinner than their analogue counterparts.
- Understanding the differences between manufacturing methods, ie milling vs printed.
- Insight into the 'wax up bottom' stage of designing. People skip this step when it is in actual fact THE most important stage.
Aims
My aim is to engage with the audience directly. I want to answer all the questions people have honestly, rather than just giving the usual almost sales type pitch people deliver when speaking about something they're passionate about. Digital dentures are the most devise aspect of dental technology at the moment, I want to correct the over selling and the scaremongering.
