Hi I am Lesley.. I am an Assistant Resuscitation Officer at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals. I started my career in 1982 as a Dental Nurse working in busy NHS practices around Sheffield with five years in Community Dental covering Chesterfield and the Peak District until finally progressing into Maxillofacial and Orthodontics. While still being passionate to do a good job in my role I also enjoyed the role of Oral educator and interacting with my colleagues during training sessions. This encouraged me to try my hand gaining my teaching qualifications which led to my current role in the Resuscitation Department teaching Hospital staff Basic Life support. Recently training to teach higher lever iLS courses within the Trust. My passion for Dentistry still prevails and I regularly do bank shifts in Oral Surgery to refresh my skills. My hobbies and interests include anything with fresh air included! Cycling, walking and swimming in lakes and a weekly night school learning to speak Spanish.
