The ElectraLink Data Transfer Service (DTS) is based on a secure national network (DTN) capable of handling large volumes of data at high speed. Direct from their own systems, Users assemble data for transmission and send it over their LAN to the DTS network connection for onward delivery to other market participants.

The DTN supports industry standard protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, XML, SOAP and provides file transfer services, web services and other services as required. Anything that can be done on the public Internet can be done on the DTN, without the inherent risks of a public Internet, but instead with guaranteed quality of service in a secure environment.

The Data Transfer Network (DTN) is:-
